DESCRIPTION:Friday\, September 12 at 5 pm – featuring 2MX2 and Monica the Great \n2MX2\n2MX2 is a Latin Pop/Hip Hop group out of Colorado. They are well known for their modern renditions of traditional Latin music into danceable urban rhythms on topics such as immigration\, health\, education reform\, and other important matters of our times. The band includes Owen Trujillo\, aka 01\, who was born in Zacatecas Mexico\, chillean/cuban rooted Adrian Garay\, Texan musical genius Easton\, and Denver natives\, Juice ET Hugo\, Lolita\, DMD\, and Kenny O. \nMonica the Great\nBorn and raised in Rialto\, California\, Monica the Great is a first generation Mexican singer\, rapper\, songwriter\, performer and MC. She spent years making music and performing all over the U.S. and Europe\, but more recently she has been exploring new sounds and finding a pocket in music that feels right for her. In 2022\, Monica was 1 of 50 artists chosen by the production super duo\, Stargate\, to work directly under them collaborating with other handpicked artists\, producers\, and engineers from around the world. Stargate is responsible for producing some of the most groundbreaking and legendary songs of our time like Irreplaceable by Beyoncé plus Diamonds\, Rude Boy\, Don’t Stop the Music and many more notable hits by Rihanna. In addition to those insane credits\, they were also the production behind a huge chunk of Ne-Yos catalog\, Katy Perrys rise to fame\, a few Shakira hits\, and so much more.
