Brighton Cultural Arts Commission Seeks Nominations

The Brighton Cultural Arts Connection announces a call for nominations for its Excellence in Arts Awards. Brighton has a vibrant and growing cultural arts community, and BCAC would like to celebrate individuals, groups, and businesses within Brighton who are cultural arts champions.

Join us for the celebration October 8th, 2026 6:30-8:30pm at the All Event Center 100 S. 3rd, Brighton, CO 80601

BCAC seeks nominations in the following categories:

• Master of Visual Arts – This category is open to photographers, painters, potters, sculptors, jewelry designers, and fiber artists.
• Master of Performing Arts – This category is open to individuals or groups who are film makers, dancers, actors/actresses, directors, or musicians.
• Master of Literary Arts – This category is open to writers of various genres.
• Visionary – This category is open to an individual, group, or business that has been a leader in the Brighton cultural arts scene.
• Master of Cultural Arts in Education – This category is open to an individual, group, or business that has offered some form of creative arts activity to the youth within our community.
• Outstanding Volunteer in Cultural Arts – This category is open to an individual who has devoted his/her time, talent, and service to enhance the cultural experience in Brighton.
• Beyond Brighton – This category is open to an individual, group, or business from outside the community that has strengthened our community’s cultural arts.

To nominate someone, please send the nomination form to Brighton Cultural Arts Connection at marketing@brightonculturalarts.org. The nomination deadline is Thursday, September 17, 2026. Past recipients are not eligible to be recognized in the same category again. Click here for a list of past recipients.

The Excellence in Arts Awards will be presented at a special event on October 8, 2026 at 6:30 pm at The Alli Event Center, 100 S. 3rd Ave., Brighton, CO 80601
